Follow Ávila’s walls from the Flour Gate through fortified entrances, towers, and viewpoints that reveal how the city’s defenses were arranged. Look beyond the main gateways at the Torre del Homenaje, where the wall’s defensive strength is expressed in a tower, and at the Medieval Cross, which adds a commemorative landmark to the route.
